Maintain a Company Ready Home: Here is My 5-Minute Daily Routine

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, maintaining a company-ready home might seem like a daunting task. With this simple and efficient 5-minute routine each day, you can effortlessly keep your living spaces welcoming and ready for unexpected guests.

Here's is my quick 5 minute morning routine to keep my house tidy:

1. Make the Bed:

Start your day with a small act that sets the tone for tidiness – make your bed. It takes just a couple minutes but instantly elevates the overall appearance of your bedroom. A well-made bed can make a significant difference in the perceived cleanliness and organization of your space. I never leave my house with out doing this task. Just imagine crawling in to your cozy bed after a long day and the sheets are pulled tight and your pillow is fluffed. Heaven.

2. Fluff Couch Cushions and Fold Blankets:

Your living room might show signs of relaxation – and that's perfectly fine! Each morning I take a quick moment to fluff up my couch cushions and neatly fold the blankets strewn across seating areas. This not only freshens up the room but also creates an inviting atmosphere.

3. Neatly Fold Bathroom Towels:

Extend the tidiness to your bathroom by neatly folding and arranging towels. A simple touch like this adds a spa-like feel to your bathroom and conveys a sense of order. Plus, it's a quick task that makes a big impact. Try folding your towels in three and make sure they are pulled even along the bottom. Do you have a bath mat? Pick it up off the floor and hang over the bathtub edge for an extra level of tidiness.

4. Polish Taps and Mirrors:

In both the kitchen and bathroom, taps can accumulate water spots and fingerprints. Keep a dry microfiber cloth handy to quickly polish all taps. Splash some water drops on your mirrors and buff dry with another dry microfiber. This not only ensures a shiny, clean appearance but also prevents the buildup of grime over time.

5. Create a Clutter Bin:

Designate a small bin or basket as your "clutter bin." As you move throughout your home, toss any misplaced items into the bin. This can include keys, mail, toys, books or anything that seems out of place. My daily goal is to have clutter free coffee tables, dining room table and counters in areas that guests may see. Reserve some time once a week to go through the bin, returning items to their proper homes. It's a proactive approach to maintaining a clutter-free environment.

In just 5 minutes each day, this routine becomes a habit that transforms your home into a haven of order and warmth. By incorporating these simple tasks into your daily routine, you'll find that maintaining a company-ready home is both achievable and sustainable. A welcoming and organized space is not only a source of personal satisfaction but also sets the stage for a stress-free and enjoyable living experience. It also helps me get my daily steps in going from room to room. Happy tidying! 🏡✨
