✨ We believe in clear expectations, good communication, and zero surprises — so here’s how things work when you book with us.
💳 1. Credit Card Preauthorization
We preauthorize your card to keep scheduling smooth and secure.
1.1. Your card is preauthorized prior to your appointment.
1.2. If your card declines, your appointment may be canceled.
⏰ 2. Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens — and we ask for notice, so our team isn’t left with empty time slots when they are ready and expecting to work.
- Cancel within 71 hours → 25% fee
- Cancel within 23 hours → 50% fee
- Cancel within 3 hours → 100% fee
🚗 3. Arrival Windows (Please Read)
We schedule using arrival windows so our teams can stay on time throughout the day.
3.1. Cleans are scheduled between 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and arrival times may shift based on routes and earlier appointments.
3.2. We do not guarantee exact arrival times. Clients receive an arrival window to allow for efficient scheduling and unexpected delays.
3.3. If an exact arrival time is required, an additional charge may apply and the office must be contacted to assist with the booking.
🧾 4. Flat-Rate Pricing (No Clock Watching Here)
Our pricing is based on the service — not the hour.
4.1. Billing will match your estimate unless:
- Major changes to the home occur
- The scope of work changes
- The clean becomes significantly more labor-intensive
4.2. Recurring promotions revert to full price if canceled during the promotional period. Discount codes apply to the first visit if services don’t continue.
👩🔧 5. Cleaner Assignment
We focus on consistency, efficiency, and quality.
5.1. Our cleaners rotate based on scheduling needs and quality control standards.
5.2. Prefer the same cleaner each visit? You can request that for an additional 10% (full-priced services only).
🚨 6. Biohazard, Pest & Safety Policy
Safety always comes first — for you and for our team.
We do not clean environments that contain unsafe or hazardous conditions, including:
- Pest feces or heavy pest contamination
- Active infestations or live bugs
- Bodily fluids, needles, or hazardous waste
- Any condition deemed unsafe by our staff
6.2. If these conditions are discovered, our team will leave immediately.
6.3. The full booking rate will be charged, as time has been reserved and travel has occurred.
6.4. If you’re unsure whether your space falls into this category, please contact us ahead of time. We do offer specialty biohazard or heavy-condition cleanups and can provide a separate estimate for this work.
🔒 7. Closed Door / Closed Drawer Policy
If a door or drawer is closed, we leave it that way unless you’ve specifically asked us to clean inside.
🅿️ 8. Parking
Please provide accessible parking. Any paid parking required will be added to your invoice.
📸 9. Documentation & Photos
Our team may take before-and-after photos for quality control and training purposes.
If you have any concerns with this, please contact our office so your account can be noted.
🤝 10. Recruitment Policy
We value our team and invest heavily in training. A $2,500 recruitment fee applies if a current or former Polished team member is hired privately within 24 months of their departure.
🧼 11. Damaged Items
Accidents are rare — but if something happens:
- Your cleaner will notify you
- Our office will follow up to resolve the situation quickly
🔁 12. Resuming Services After a Pause
If services are paused for more than six weeks, your booking will restart at current pricing and will begin again with an initial clean to reset the home to Polished standards.
⏲ 13. Appointment Duration
13.1. Appointment durations may vary based on the condition of the home and service needs.
13.2. Because we operate on flat-rate pricing, cleaners are not required to stay for a minimum time frame.
